Meet Thor… a 3-month-old Texas-born Doberman puppy with big energy, bigger ears, and the kind of confidence that makes you double-check if he’s secretly paying rent.

Thor came into rescue after being surrendered by a back yard breeder who, let’s just say… was learning as she went. The result was a litter full of surprises, personalities, and enough variation to make even seasoned rescuers raise an eyebrow. We’re currently waiting on his DNA results, because this little guy has everyone curious. His siblings don’t all match in a predictable way, and while we’re not here to rewrite biology textbooks, we are here for a little mystery and a lot of science quietly doing its thing in the background.

What we do know with confidence? Momma was absolutely a Doberman. That’s a solid 50% confirmed elegance, brains, and attitude right there—no debate. The other half? That’s still being decoded, like a fun genetic plot twist waiting for its reveal episode. While the breeder claims the litter was purebred Doberman, well....let just say we are scratching our heads in disbelief. Can't fool us, we went right to the DNA test!

And Thor? He’s already living up to the Doberman half in full force. His daddy could have been a true Doberman for sure as he looks every bit purebred Doberman.

At just three months old, he is sharp, attentive, and learning at warp speed. Crate training? Nailed it. Potty training? Practically old news. This is a puppy who watches the world like it’s a puzzle he fully intends to solve… and then rearrange the pieces just for fun.

Personality-wise, he’s got main-character energy. Outgoing, bold, playful, and just mischievous enough to keep life interesting without ever crossing into trouble… well… not serious trouble anyway. Blankets are fair game. Slippers are negotiable at best. Your heart? Already under new management.

He is current on vaccines, microchipped, and already showing all the signs of becoming one of those unforgettable dogs who grows up and leaves pawprints all over your life in the best way.

Thor isn’t just a puppy… he’s a little storm of brilliance wrapped in fur, half known, half mystery, and 100% irresistible. www.uniteddobermanrescue.org
