Gigi is a purebred Australian Cattle Dog, which is know as one of the smartest dog breed known to man, she is around 7 years old and weighing in at only 37 pounds. Gigi's surrendering owner was evicted from the home. Gigi is a nice dog who loves to explore. She loves playing with other dogs and puppies! She has a keen sense of smell and is always eager to sniff out new scents and investigate her surroundings. Gigi is in search of a new home where she can be the center of attention and receive the care and love she deserves. She would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can explore to her heart's content. Gigi would also benefit from a family who is experienced with her highly intelligent herding breed and can provide her with plenty of comfort and mental stimulation. Gigi is fully vaccinated, spayed, chipped and heartworm negative and ready to find a foster or forever home! According to the American Kennel Club, Australian Cattle Dogs are one of the most smartest dog breeds. They are an alert and curious breed belonging to the Herding Group, and group of breeds that share an "instinctual ability" to control the movements of other animals. They are especially intelligent at hearing and protecting livestock, so they are superb dogs for those who live on farms. They have a long lifespan up to 15 years old! This breed is also very robust with little health issues. Cattle dogs are known for their intelligence and ability to learn new cues quickly which makes them good for agility. These energetic dogs have a strong desire to please their pet parents, and they make good companions for families who have lots of time to spend with their pooch outdoors, playing and engaging their natural instinct to herd and chase. Gigi is all ready to have a family who will par-take in future adventures with her.
