Delby is dying of cancer and we need your support. Delby is a 2 year old  female Doberman who came to us pregnant. This young mother has already had numerous litters in her previous home. Her 6 babies have all been adopted out. Sadly she came to rescue with a large oozing, very sore growth in one of her teats that made nursing her babies challenging and we had to discontinue nursing when the pups were 4 weeks old so she could have surgery to remove the growth. The pathology report came back with the very sad news that it was indeed an aggressive breast cancer. Chest x-rays showed the cancer had already spread to her lungs and lymph nodes. The vets have given her 3 months to 3 years to live.  Delby's vet bills have been adding up and there will be more in the future to keep her comfortable. We will do what ever we need to do to help this young girl until her days on earth are done. She was a dotting and loving mother to her puppies while trying to deal with the incredible pain. Delby will NOT be available for adoption and we could use donations to help cover her medical bills. We promised her we would take care of her no matter what, and hope you can help us help Delby fight the good fight. Thank you for any support you can provide to Delby, even if its a nice blanket, bed, food, treats or cards of love and prayers. Delby will remain in hospice, cared with one of our loving volunteers. With your help we will make her life as comfortable as possible until the cancer wins by consuming her life.
