Kaboos is of exceptional lines, born in Russia and lived most his life in Saudi Arabia. He is a very large and extremely handsome, 5 year old, docked, cropped, European bred Doberman, who was an owner surrender. Kaboos is so very kind with people, and would make a wonderful therapy dog. He adores children and is so willing to do as he is told. Kaboos will need an owner who has Doberman experience, or experience with a large breed of dog. Kaboos has a very bittersweet story of his past. He was in a shelter in Saudi Arabia for over 4 years but his person who placed him there continued to care for him, year after year. The shelter staff convinced the owner he would be better off living with a family in a home and they agreed, thus Kaboos is now with UDR. Kaboos was very much loved and treated like royalty while in the shelter. He ate like a king and had special time with his people, got to play with all his favorite buddies that were at the shelter with him. Kaboos is fickle about other dogs. Some he likes, some he doesn't. Why did his owners put him here and care for him so long you ask? Kaboos was sentenced and served his time in the shelter for killing a cat when he was 1 years old. His owners knew he was such a good boy they were not sure what to do and time got away from them till this sweet guy turned 5 years old. Since then he has matured, and become a gentleman. Kaboos will do best in a home where he can be king of his castle and get all the love and attention he deserves. He will truly be your protector with his massive size! There are few Dobermans of this caliber and beauty.  Kaboos is fully vetted and looking for love today!!
