Adoption Pending! Rock is a 20 month old AKC registered, neutered male Doberman who was not getting along with the intact male Labrador of the same age in the home. The two boys, had grown up together and now that they were both mentally mature, started having disagreements about who was in charge. This scenario  is a classic example of what happens with two male dogs in the home, one being a Doberman, and add they were the same age, see more here on littermate syndrome and why it is a bad idea to have two dogs of the same age or litter mates. We see this far to often with dogs of the same age, or two males in the home and this is the reason we do not adopt male Doberman into homes with other male canines, or adopt out two puppies to the same home. More on the wonderful boy..........Rock knows how to sit up, shake, sit, down and has some basic obedience under his belt. This boy is reliably crate and house trained, loves to go for rides in the car, long walks in the woods and he gets the zoomies during play. Good with female Dobermans when introduced slowly. Rock will need a fenced yard, NO CATS, children over 13 years of age, he is large and will knock over small children easily as he has no space boundaries, and a pack leader that knows the breed. Rock is an exquisite Doberman specimen but he is not a dog for the new Doberman owner. He is typical of the classic Doberman of old. One who loves deeply, bonds to "his" people, is exceptionally smart, alerts to the unusual and protects those he loves. Rock also would LOVE a job of some sort such as nose work, agility, rally obedience or barn hunt. He will be a wonderful companion to the right home.
