Therapy dog!!?? Bebe is a young female Hound who looks incredible like a Pharoah Hound X with a rabbit. Look at those gorgeous ears!!! We think she is around 9 months old to a year old. This girls has the makings of a therapy dog for sure, confidence, kindness, intelligence and just loves everyone and everything. Bebe would be a prime candidate for a certified therapy dog for a person who would be willing to train her! And what a great car rider. Bebe does well with other dogs, and loves playing in groups at doggy daycare. She would love to be able to go to dog parks and doggy daycare in her forever home.  Bebe is currently being boarded until a forever home or foster home comes forward to help our sweet girl out. Bebe is spayed, current on vaccines, heart worm negative. Fosters are supplied with food and all vet care covered by the rescue. Adopt or foster. More about the Pharoah Hound: The Pharaoh Hound is an ancient dog breed who has changed little since their development more than 5,000 years ago. They were the dog of kings and may have hunted gazelles with pharaohs, hence their name. This loyal hunting companion later made their way to Malta, where they are now the national dog.  The Pharoah Hound has a remarkable personality characterized by an immense joy of life. Intelligent and affectionate, they take life as it comes and enjoys clowning around.

As with any hound, they have moments of aloofness and can be strong-willed. But mainly they are a gentle dog who gets along well with others, including children and other dogs. They love human companionship and will seek out affection and attention from their people while still maintaining his independence.

One of their most endearing traits is their ability to blush. You may spot a deep rose color on their nose and ears when they are excited, happy, or enjoying some affection. Many owners will train their Pharaoh Hounds to smile. Since this fun-loving breed enjoys smiling so much, it isn’t a hard trick to teach. While they are too friendly to serve as a guard dog, the Pharaoh Hound will bark to alert you to anyone or anything that seems suspicious.

United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process

1. Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. Incomplete applications may be denied.(uniteddobermanrescue.org)
2. We are 100% volunteer, please read adoption requirements BEFORE reaching out to us. 
3. Home Visit: A volunteer will schedule a home visit to assess the environment and discuss your expectations. All household members, including children, must be present.(uniteddobermanrescue.org)
4. Veterinary Reference Check: Provide contact information for your current veterinarian. All existing pets must be spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative.(uniteddobermanrescue.org)
5. Meeting Dogs: Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs in their foster homes. If you have a resident dog, consult with the foster about bringing them along.
6. Adoption Finalization: If a suitable match is found, you'll sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Due to COVID-19 precautions, same-day adoptions are currently permitted.

 Key Adoption Policies

• Age Requirement: Adopters must be at least 21 years old and reside in the home where the dog will live.(uniteddobermanrescue.org)
• WE do NOT ship our dogs ever!!!
• Children: Adult dogs are not placed in homes with children under 6 years old. Puppies may be considered for such homes if a fenced yard is present.(uniteddobermanrescue.org)
• Living Arrangements: Dogs must live indoors and not be left unattended outdoors.
• Training Commitment: Adopters should be prepared to continue training and socialization. Formal obedience classes are encouraged.(uniteddobermanrescue.org)
• Health Considerations: Dobermans are prone to certain health issues. Adopters should be financially prepared for potential veterinary expenses and consider pet insurance.
• Return Policy: If you're unable to keep your adopted dog, UDR requires the dog be returned to them, except in cases involving aggression or biting.(uniteddobermanrescue.org)
