Sequin, the stunning 2 year old, red female Doberman, is a true gem! This girl would love to be the one and only queen of her castle! With humans she exhibits a friendly and amiable nature, although she can be somewhat protective. Sequin follows commands quickly and learns new ones easily, as typical of the Doberman breed due to her high intelligence. One of her greatest joys is going for walks and runs with her people, which she eagerly looks forward to. With her happy and confident disposition, Sequin radiates an outgoing personality that draws people towards her with her beauty. All vet cares have been taken care of while in rescue, ensuring that she has been spayed, chipped, and vaccinated, making her a well-protected, healthy and soon to be, loved member of her family, once she finds the right home. NO CATS and preferably no other dogs. Sequin was surrendered by a breeder and has had puppies in her past so her canine pals are few and far. Apply on our website if you can foster her or if you qualify to adopt. www.uniteddobermanrescue.org

From her short term foster-Sequin is a gorgeous, 2 year old red female Doberman who will sweep you off your feet with her sweet and loving demeanor. She is completely content hanging out with her human companions and will gazingly watch your every move. She is completely velcro so you must love having a dog be your shadow!

Qualities about her:
- She has perfect house manners (no counter surfing, garbage digging, or destruction).
- She is completely potty trained.
- She does well in her kennel and when left alone in the home.
- She loves to fetch and bring the ball back, a game which she very much enjoys
- She loves going for walks and exploring! She will wait by the door to clue you in that she'd like to go.

- She wants nothing more than to be loved and to be the center of your world!

-. She knows sit and shake, but needs a consistent human and routine with a trustworthy human to learn them better as well as other important commands. She will jump to try to greet and kiss you, so needs work on her off/down command among others.
- She loves her walks, but her handler must use tools to deter pulling as this girl is strong! Formal training and commitment with a human willing to work with her and build trust will reduce pulling.
- She has done well with some dogs, but she needs to be slowly and properly introduced. She would do best with no other canines, or a master who has extensive knowledge on canine introduction, is willing to do it slowly and methodically over the course of many weeks, who can introduce her to a easy going and submissive canine. She is very, very confident so she needs an owner who is equally confident and a strong leader knows this breed, and who will remind Sequin that she does not need to be in charge.
- Sequin will require a fence that is completely secure. If she can't see you or get to you outside, she will try to find a way to get to you or she will make up her own games if left alone. She needs daily energy release with people.

*Couch potatoes need not apply as Sequin is a superior, high energy dog with lots of energy. This could be trying to escape from the yard to see what's on the other side and who might be game for some fun.

- Sequin is a hunter and has a high prey drive and will scare all of the squirrels and bunnies out of your yard!
 No CATS or small animals.

To know Sequin is to love her and she will make her forever family so happy by showering them with her loving personality!
